Maternity capital will exceed 500 thousand rbl. by 2016 – the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection RF

«By 2016 the cumulative amount of the maternity capital will be more than 500 thousand rbl.», — RIA Novosti News Agency quotes the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection RF Alexey Vovchenko.

Families, where the second child or subsequent children appeared after January 1, 2007 have the right to receive the maternity capital if earlier they did not receive it. A family can direct these means for improvement of living conditions; increase the accumulative part of the pension of one of parents or for education of one of children. The program operates till the end of 2016. Thus reception of the certificate and the means disposal is not limited to this term.

In 2012, in Bashkortostan 25,5 thousand certificates for the maternity capital were issued. During the whole period of operation of the law «On additional measures of the state support to families having children» 151,8 thousand certificates were issued in the republic. On this indicator Bashkortostan is on the first position in the Volga Federal District and on the second over Russia.
