Investors will give 2 billion rbl. for construction of high-speed tram railways in Ufa

Investors will give 2 billion rbl. for construction of the first stage (4,3 km) of railways of high-speed tram in Ufa. Designing now comes to the end, the route is confirmed — the new branch will connect the north and the south of the republican capital. The deputy head of Ufa administration Ildar Hasanov informed about it on Tuesday.

As he said, public hearings on project implementation will be held in April.

“The passenger traffic is presumably calculated,” Ildar Hasanov said. It is necessary to underline that the project of a high-speed tram is not self-supporting, but subsidized from the budget.

Designing of the second stage of construction is planned in the near future. Except construction of railways, the transport park will be also updated. In 2013-2015 it is allocated 300 million rbl on these purposes.
