Bashkortostan can become «a tourist bridge» between the Volga region and Urals

In Yekaterinburg the I International Tourist Forum «Great Ural -2013» was held where the head of Agency for Tourism of Bashkortostan Republic Artem Kolesnikov took part. As the department press-service informs, within the limits of the forum the meeting of Artem Kolesnikov with the Director of small and medium business and tourism department of the Ministry of Economics of the Sverdlovsk Region Alexander Porodnov took place. During the meeting the issues of tourism development in the Ural regions, creation of the uniform brand «Great Ural», uniting efforts of Ural regions on tourist products advancement in Russia and beyond its limits, and also promoting inter-regional communications were discussed.

It should be mentioned that last year Bashkortostan Republic won the right to welcome the III Festival-presentation of tourist resources «Discover the Volga Region -2013».

At the meeting in Yekaterinburg the head of Agency for Tourism RB discussed possibility of arrival of «Great Ural» regions delegation at the III Festival-presentation of tourist resources «Discover the Volga Region -2013», and also participation of representatives of tourist industry of Sverdlovsk Region in the business program, within the limits of a round-table conference «SCO and BRICS Summits. Exchange of Experience».

Thus, Bashkortostan can become a kind of a bridge between the Volga regions and «the Great Ural» that will increase tourist flow into the republic, will promote development of mutual relations between the organisations of tourist branch of both regions, the press-service of the Agency for Tourism RB informs.
