More than one third of small enterprises are engaged in trade in Bashkiria — statistics

More than one third of small scale enterprises are engaged in trade in Bashkortostan, the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency found out. 17,3 percent of small companies work in the real estate market, are engaged in rent or rendering services. 13,9 percent of small enterprises are related to building branch, 11,4 percent — to processing manufactures sector.

The Bashkortostan Statistics Agency explains the branch structure of small-scale business by the pattern of demand.

On number of small enterprises the republic is on the fifth position in Volga Federal District (PFO). In 2012 Bashkortostan had 32,2 thousand of small businesses, including 26,8 thousand of micro-companies.

The republic occupies the third place in PFO on number of people occupied in small-scale business. In 2012 284,6 thousand people were employed at regional small enterprises, or every fourth worker.
