Bashkortostan is the leader in PFO on issuance of maternity capital certificates

As the effective date of law «On additional measures of state support of families having children» 151796 certificates for maternity (family) capital were issued in Bashkortostan Republic. It is the second indicator over the country and the first in Volga Federal District (PFO).

In 2012, 59 thousand children were born in the republic. For this period the Pension Fund Directorates issued 25500 certificates in republican regions and cities, from them for the second child — 21500, for the third and subsequent children — 4000 certificates.

As the press-service of the Pension Fund on RB informs, during the operation of the law 56 thousand families partially or completely repaid their housing loans, 24311 families improved their living conditions without attraction of loans, 1539 owners of certificates paid for education of children. 51 mothers directed 4,8 million rbl. from means of their maternity capital for formation of the funded part of their future pensions.

The sum of the maternity capital is annually indexed. If in 2007 it made 250 thousand rbl., than in 2013 — almost 409 thousand rbl.

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin charged to bring amendments when due hereunder to the legislation of the Russian Federation directed on increase of efficiency and diversity of use of the maternity capital, till May 1, 2013.
