Ufa takes the second place in PFO on retail trade turnover per capita
The retail trade turnover made 367 billion rbl. in Ufa in 2012 — by 9,1 percent more than in 2011. 58 percent of total republican retail turnover are accounted for Ufa.
The capital of Bashkortostan is on the second place in Volga Federal District (PFO) after Yekaterinburg on retail trade turnover, the deputy mayor Marat Galiullin informed.
The public catering volume made 15,4 billion rbl. in 2012 in Ufa. It is the third place in PFO after Yekaterinburg and Perm.
The volume of household services is estimated in the sum of 14,4 billion rbl. — the second result in the district after Kazan.
The sphere of trade and services in Ufa is replenished with new objects.
“For the last year 139 new objects of trade and public catering with total area of more than 80 thousand sq. m were put into operation,” Marat Galiullin reported. “It was created over two thousand new jobs.”
Thus, according to the city council, for today 4717 trading objects and 1262 public catering establishments operate in Ufa.
Provision of trading areas per one thousand inhabitants makes 1033 sq. m — at the minimum established by the republic Government of 903 sq. m, the press-service of city administration informs.
