Housing construction in Bashkiria grew by 28,1 percent from the beginning of year

In January-February the housing construction volume in Bashkortostan grew by 28,1 percent, in comparison with the comparable indicator of 2011, the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency informs. For two months 1865 apartments were put into operation with the total area of 185,6 thousand square metres.

Still the main volume is formed by individual builders: 137,5 thousand sq.m (1224 houses), plus 4,3 percent by 2012. Thus the statistics registers considerable growth of construction rates by republican enterprises and companies: if in January-February, 2012 they commissioned 13,1 thousand sq.m of habitation, then in first two months 2013 — already 48,1 thousand sq.m, that is in 3,7 times more. As a result the share of individual construction in total amount of housing construction of Bashkortostan reduced from 90,9 to 74,1 percent.

In January-February in rural areas a little bit more housing was commissioned than in the urban ones: 96,2 thousand sq.m against 89,4 thousand sq.m, accordingly.

According to the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency, among the regions of Volga Federal District Bashkortostan takes the second place on commissioning of apartment houses in January-February, 2013, and on the same indicator in per capita terms - only the sixth.
