Gold and silver kilogram coins are minted for Olympic Games in Sochi
The day before the Bank of Russia issued gold and silver kilogram coins devoted to the XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games- 2014 in Sochi.
Gold coin "Prometheus" is of 10 thousand rbl. denomination, the year of minting «2014» is engraved on it. It is of 999 grade. Circulation is 250 pieces.
The silver coin «Russian winter» is of 100 rbl. denomination. It is of 925 grade. Circulation is 1,2 thousand pieces.
Besides, on Tuesday four silver coins "Curling", "Biathlon", «Speed skating» and «Sledding» of three roubles denomination, gold 50-rouble coins «Skiflying» and "Ice hockey" were issued.
One commemorative coin from non-precious metals in the denomination of 25 rbl. was put into circulation, the external and public relations department of the Bank of Russia informs.
