Backdated salaries grew by 26,5 million rbl. in Bashkiria

According to the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency, the backdated salaries in the republic for the first two months of the year of 2013 increased by 26,5 million rbl.

“As of March 1, 20 enterprises have arrears in wages of 3956 employees for the total sum of 81,5 million rbl.” Irina Svintitskaya, the head of department of the State Labour Inspection in RB informs.

In January-February this year the state labour inspectors analysed the situation with remuneration of labour at 124 employers of the republic. The arrears of salaries and final settlements were revealed at 28 of them. They had backdated salaries of 1812 employees for the total sum of 67,4 million rbl.

All in all from the beginning of the year backdated salaries were paid to 803 workers for more than 11 million rbl. in execution of orders issued by state labour inspectors.

Besides backdated salaries, state labour inspectors registered 170 various infringements more in the sphere of labour payment. The most widespread infringement is non-observance of requirements of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation on final settlement payment to the employee on the day of dismissal.

From the beginning of 2013, 107 republican employers were hold administratively liable for infringements in labour payment according to administrative proceedings initiated by state labour inspectors and public prosecutors. The sum of penalties imposed on them already exceeds 500 thousand rbl.
