It is planned to create 276 workplaces for disabled persons by means of subsidies in Bashkortostan

In 2013 in Bashkortostan it is planned to create 276 workplaces for employment of disabled persons. The subsidising mechanism is provided for this purpose. The average size of the subsidy per one working position is increased to 66,2 thousand rbl., Lenara Ivanova, the Minister of Labour and Social Protection RB reported at the extended session of the board on March 5.

Meanwhile one of the main measures focused on the decision of the problem of disabled persons employment, still is assignment of quotas on working positions. Execution of quotas in 2012 has made 64 percent (6002 quotas instead of planned 9335) in the republic. According to the Minister this results from the fact that the quota is not the stimulating mechanism for employers.

As it was marked at the session of the board of the Ministry of Labour RB, then it was planned to bring amendments to the Federal law «On social protection of disabled persons in the Russian Federation». The amendments provide increase in the list of employers for which the quota is established.

Thus the size of the penalty for refusal to employ a disabled person on the account of quota was already increased to 10 thousand rbl.
