Positive tendencies are marked in the labour market of Bashkortostan

In Bashkortostan number of employees dismissed in connection with liquidation of organisations and staff reduction decreases. Thus, if in 2009 there were 23 thousand of such employees in the region by the end of 2012 their quantity already reduced to three thousand. The number of employees who are under risk of dismissal decreased almost six times. Such data was given today by the Minister of Labour and Social Protection RB Lenara Ivanova at the extended session of the board.

“The employment potential of jobless people has considerably increased in the republic,” the Minister said. “In 2012 information about 286,7 thousand available vacancies was submitted to the republican employment service, that was by 1,3 times more than in 2011. Accordingly, the intensity factor in the labour market decreased. The share of jobs with payment above the minimum living wage reached 89 percent. Employment level increased from 68,8 to 69,8 percent.

Meanwhile considering cities and regions of Bashkortostan the range of diversity in the labour market still remains essential. In many respects it is caused by different level of social and economic development, and also low territorial mobility of the population.
