Bashkortostan minimised cash money turnover in public sector — the Ministry of Finance RF

Bashkortostan is recognised by the Ministry of Finance of Russia the unconditional leader in the country on minimisation of cash money turnover in public sector. As of January 1, salary payment cards were issued to 99,9 % of public sector employees of the republic. Thus in 13 cities and regions settlements are carried out only in the non-cash form.

According to the press-service of the Ministry of Finance RB, for four years the cash volume given out to state and municipal authorities was reduced in 15 times — from 5 977,6 million rbl. to 387,2 million rbl. Ratio of cash settlements in total sum of cash payments decreased from 3,8 percent to 0,1 percent, accordingly.

According to the head of Exchequer Directorate of the Ministry of Finance RB Svetlana Bakirova, settlements with payment cards through bodies of Federal Exchequer will be implemented in the short term.
