Bashkiria is the first in PFO and the sixth in Russia by quantity of issued banking cards

The quantity of banking cards which were issued in the territory of Bashkortostan made 4,4 million units (an increase of 9,7 percent). National Bank RB gives such data as of the beginning of the year. On this indicator the republic wins the first place in Volga Federal District (PFO) and the sixth – in Russia.

The service infrastructure in the sector of banking plastic cards develops too. There were 4,3 thousand of cash dispenses in the region in the beginning of year, for the year their number increased by 18,1 percent. Number of electronic terminals increased much more – by 31,5 percent: 14,7 thousand.

In 2012 by means of payment cards inhabitants and visitors of the republic carried out 146,5 million transactions for 442,7 billion rbl. It is an increase of 2011 indicators by 31,3 and 34,2 percent, accordingly. The share of payments with use of payment cards in total amount of calculations of the population for the goods and services grew by 11,3 percent.
