Universal electronic card will start a portal on state services payment in April

In April the special portal of the Universal electronic card (UEC) will start to work where it will be possible to pay the state services, the head of analytical directorate of federal technologies department of "UEC" company Alexey Tarasov informs.

«Citizens can be registered on it having entered their personal data (it is now discussed which exactly)», he said.

To pay state services on UEC portal it will be possible not only by means of a Universal electronic card, but also by means of Visa and MasterCard, through the Savings Bank OnL@jn and electronic cash.

The representative of "UEC" company underlined that the Universal electronic card was created not for replacement of payment cards, but first of all — for state services payment inside the country. The entrance to the international market is not planned. UEC is first of all an identification tool.
