For forest fires suppression four more interdistrict fire-chemical stations will be created in Bashkiria
In 2013 in Bashkortostan it is planned to put into operation four more interdistrict fire-chemical stations of the III type and to equip fully fire-chemical stations of the II type.
As the head of the press-service of the Ministry of Forestry RB Aibulat Gainullin informs, at the moment there are eight fire-chemical stations of the III type and 23 fire-chemical stations of the II type in the republic. The total number of employees exceeds 100 persons there.
“Preparation for a fire-dangerous season-2013 was started beforehand in our region. The consolidating plan of forest fires suppression in the territory of Bashkortostan this year is already co-ordinated by the Federal Forestry Agency,” the Deputy Minister of Forestry RB Rif Gumerov marked at the board session.
In 2012 35 units of fire suppression equipment for the total sum of more than 72,843 million rbl were purchased at the expense of subsidies from the federal budget and the budget RB.
It should be mentioned that from the beginning of the fire-dangerous season-2012, 220 cases of forest fires occurrence were registered on the plots of forest reserves of Bashkortostan. The ignition total area made 1564,17 hectares. 5012 people were engaged in suppression of forest fires and 1381 units of equipment.
