14,9 million tons of oil are extracted in Bashkiria in 2012

In 2012 in the territory of Bashkortostan it is extracted 14,9 million tons of oil, 14,6 million tons from which are accounted for JSOC Bashneft. Last year seven organisations were engaged in oil and gas recovery in the republic. Such data were given by Rasikh Khamitov, the head of Directorate of Subsurface Resources Management on RB at the press conference in Bashinform News Agency on February 19.

“For the last years due to successful application of new methods of oil recovery factor improvement it was possible to stabilise level of oil recovery from republican oil fields, Rasikh Khamitov marked. “In 2013 it is planned to extract 14,7 million tons of oil more. The discovered extracted reserves life makes about 25 years in the region.”

At the moment in the territory of Bashkortostan there are 202 oil and gas fields, 163 deposits are under development.
