Radio-electronic cluster is created in Bashkortostan

The Cooperation Agreement on formation and development of radio-electronic cluster in Bashkortostan is signed in the republican Ministry of Industry and Innovative Policy.

Participants of the radio-electronic cluster (REC) are joint-stock companies "Ufa Instrument Making Production Association", "Ufa Aggregate Production Association", Ufa Research and Development Enterprise "Molniya", "Soliton" scientific research institute, Ufa Plant "Promsvyaz", "Poligon" Research and Development Enterprise, "BETO", "Progress" production service shop, Ufa Microelectronics Plant "Magnetron", "CHIP" LLC, Bashkortostan Republic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ufa State Aviation Technical University and "Bashkortostan" Technopark — the specialised organisation-co-ordinator on conducting joint projects of participants the cluster RB.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Innovative Policy RB, the cluster is created «with a view of cooperation of telecommunication equipment, communications devices, radio-electronic equipment and microelectronic components manufacturers located in the territory of Bashkortostan Republic».

The Ministry of Industry and Innovative Policy RB acts as the co-ordinator of the project.
