Bashkortostan farmers suffered from the drought started to receive subsidies

In Bashkortostan subsidies distribution to the farmers suffered from the drought in 2012 was started. As the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB informs, transfer of subsidies is planned to be completely finished already in the end of this week.

It should be mentioned that the Bashkortostan Republic was included into 20 regions of the country which received 495 million rbl. from the federal budget for subsidies to support agricultural producers suffered from the drought. From them almost 322 million rbl. were directed for compensation of a part of the damage suffered by farms because of crops destruction owing to abnormal hydrometeorological conditions. Over 173 million rbl. were allocated for indemnification of a part of forages expenses.

As a result of the drought-2012 the significant damage was inflicted to the republican agriculture which was estimated for the sum of more than 5,5 billion rbl. The state of emergency due to the drought was entered in the territory of 46 regions and three city districts. Because of abnormal hot weather 1/5 areas under crops suffered.
