Bashkortostan, Tatarstan and YANAO created a consortium for Yamal - Volga pipeline construction

Bashkortostan, Tatarstan and Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District (YANAO) created the JSC "Yamal-Volga" production-commercial company for realization of pipelines design and production for hydrocarbon crude transportation from Yamal to the Volga region, Interfax informs.

JSC "Regional Fund" (33,3 % of shares), "Regional Innovative-Investment Fund "Yamal"(33,3 %) noncommercial organisation and JSC "Nizhnekamskneftechim" (33,4 %) were among its founders.

The consortium functions include a feasibility report development, works on construction and operation of the main pipelines of liquefied petroleum gas produced by YANAO extracting companies, and its delivery to the enterprises of Volga oil and gas chemical cluster.

In May between Bashkortostan, Tatarstan and YANAO the Protocol of Intent in the field of transportation of petrochemical hydrocarbon crude, in particular, broad fraction of light hydrocarbons and gas condensate on the route «Yamal —Volga region» was signed.

According to it Bashkortostan and Tatarstan plan to develop the complex program of perspective development of the Volga oil and gas chemical cluster on the basis of resources of the Western-Siberian region. The project cost was estimated as 80-120 billion rbl. Three regions also planned to prepare by May the Feasibility Report of the product pipeline from Yamal to the Volga region.
