The Savings Bank will open the credit line of 620 million rbl. for Ufa Airport

The Savings Bank of Russia will open a nonrevolving credit line of 620 million rbl. for a period of 10 years to the International Ufa Airport. The funds will be used for working out of the civil-engineering design of the international terminal with throughput of 500 passengers per hour and airport infrastructure.

According to the Ufa Airport representatives, the regional branch of the Savings Bank of Russia offered the most attractive interest rate during the tender: 10,75 % per annum. The initial rate offered by the banks participating in the tender was 13,5 %.

The increase in throughput of the international terminal at the Ufa airport with 200 to 500 passengers per hour is provided by the master plan of the airport development till 2030. In connection with the forthcoming SCO and BRICS Summits in Ufa in 2015 work on the terminal modernisation was accelerated. A reconstruction of an air field platform will be spent at the expense of the federal budget. The Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsyia) allocates 2,3 billion rbl. for these purposes.
