Economy class habitation share will make 60 percent in Volga Federal District by 2018

In Volga District construction rates of economy class habitation will be increased. It was declared by the plenipotentiary of the President of Russia in the Volga Federal District Michael Babich at the meeting, which was held in Chuvashiya.

“Today the demand for the economy class habitation is considerably higher, than the market supply. Therefore the habitation already is now entered into operation, and by 2018 we should bring the level of economy class houses construction to 60 percent,” Michael Babich said.

The Volga District Plenipotentiary underlined also that today there were several forms of the economy class habitation support. Subjects of the Federation allocate land plots, construct an infrastructure there, invite builders, and define the top price for this habitation, not exceeding specifications of the Ministry of Regional Development RF. If the builder agrees, he will receive the land plot on favourable terms.

“The Fund of Housing Construction Development Assistance is created, which should give such possibilities on the federal land. Besides, there is a preferential mortgage for various categories of citizens. Today active work is conducted in this direction, and following the results of 2013 it will be possible to make intermediate conclusions,” the Plenipotentiary underlined.
