Ufa travel agency is fined for 100 thousand rbl. for counterfeit name

The Ufa tour agency «Natali Tour» LLC is fined for 100 thousand rbl. for unfair competition.

Bashkortostan Directorate of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (UFAS) has found out that the company uses the image and the company name in the near resemblance to the trade mark and the name of another travel agency — known in the city «Natali Tours» LLC.

Before applying to the Antimonopoly Service the legal owner directed a claim to «Natali Tour» LLC, but the company did not respond to it.

Bashkortostan UFAS came to conclusion, that «Natali Tour» LLC activity was the unfair competition as focused on receiving advantages in business activity by decrease in promotion expenses of its enterprise (increase of its recognizability) and capable to inflict damage to the competitor by demand redistribution in the commodity market».
