220,9 million passengers were transported by buses in Ufa for a year

275,6 million passengers were transported by all types of transport in the capital of Bashkortostan during the year of 2012. The greatest amount of passengers were transported by buses – 220,9 million, that makes 80,2 percent to total amount of transportations. The electric transport share, accordingly, is 19,8 percent. Trams and trolley buses within a year transported 54,7 million people. Minibus taxis’ share accounted for 74 percent of total bus transportations. Albina Yusupova, the deputy head of the Ufa administration informed about it at the press conference in the City Council on Tuesday.

The transport infrastructure of the city develops. Thus, reconstruction of the first stage of the overhead crossing over railway tracks is finished in the eastern part of Demsky district. Construction of the main highway of northern bypass of "Zaton" residential area is conducted, two underground crosswalks in October Avenue are under construction.
