Rustem Khamitov has met with the General Director of Russian Helicopters Dmitry Petrov

On January 28, the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov discussed with the General Director of JSC Russian Helicopters Dmitry Petrov issues of development of JSC «Kumertau Aircraft Production Enterprise». The discussion, in particular, concerned the prospects of creation of several new centres of competence and innovative manufactures to produce accessories for helicopters, the press-service of the head of the region informs.

Following the results of the meeting Dmitry Petrov marked that was his next meeting with the President of the Republic spent every two-three months without fail.

“We inform the leadership of the republic concerning changes at the enterprise. We spoke about social and economic situation there. This meeting was devoted mostly to our long-term plans. They are connected with competence centre creation in the territory of the aircraft enterprise in Kumertau. And also we discussed in more detail manufacture of composite materials, new factory creation to produce vanes from composite materials in Kumertau and participation of the republic in the equity ownership of this enterprise,” the head of the Russian Helicopters said.
