Internet technologies will help to reduce queues in post offices of Bashkiria

Bashkortostan is included into 30 pilot regions where Russian Post started a universal Payment Portal to pay services through the Internet.
Inhabitants of Bashkortostan by means of universal service from the regional website of Russian Post can pay for the services of Internet providers, cable TV, fixed and mobile communication, and also to check up availability and to pay traffic penalties. For acknowledgement of payment citizens can order receipt in hard copy with a bank stamp.
“New service promotes reduction of queues in post offices and allows mail to be more attractive to the clients preferring to make payments online,” the director of Bashkortostan Department of the Russian Post Irek Galimov marked.
As the press-service of the republican branch informs, the list of services suppliers will be constantly extended on the Russian Post website. Within a year the federal post operator plans to increase quantity of service providers to 15 thousand in 80 regions of Russia.
