More than 3,5 billion rbl. were directed from the budget of Bashkiria to increase housing affordability

More than 3,5 billion rbl. were directed from the budget of Bashkortostan in 2012 to increase the housing affordability – the Ministry of Finance RB reports.

Last year in republic the state support to citizens in the housing problem decision was rendered in several directions. Among the main measures the Ministry of Finance RB named the mortgage loans interest rate subsidising as three percentage points. Separate categories of citizens were given social payments for habitation acquisition. They could be used, including, as an initial payment at mortgage loans granting. Construction of social housing of economy class proceeded – it was on sale at the price below the market one.

The Ministry of Finance officials consider that these measures became one of the reasons of substantial growth of mortgage loans volumes in Bashkiria. They name salary growth as another important factor. On preliminary data of financial department, the monthly average nominal added wages of republican employees increased by 11,4 percent in 2012, in comparison with the indicator of 2011.
