Classification of economic activities types took effect in Russia

Since January 1, 2013 Classification of economic activities according to professional risk classes took effect in Russia.

In total 32 classes of professional risk are defined in the document. They reflect levels of occupational traumatism, occupational diseases and expenses on the insurance maintenance, developed on activity types.

As the press-service of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population RB explains, the given classification is established according to the Federal Law «On obligatory social occupational accident insurance and occupational diseases insurance» for differentiation of insurance rates.
