Inhabitants of Bashkiria are more interested in tourism, culture and sports – Statistics

Last year the volume of services of tourist organisations, culture and sports institutions in Bashkortostan displayed significant growth against other paid services, it is followed from official data of the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency.

Thus, the volume of tourist services for the last year grew by 15,6 % (to 3621,2 million rbl.) in comparable prices. The demand for culture establishments services increased by 18,5 % (result of 2012 — 1368,5 million rbl.). Physical training and sports institutions rendered services in 2012 by 9,4 % more than the year before (986,1 million rbl.).

As a whole the volume of paid services rendered to the population in Bashkortostan in 2012 is estimated as 183171,3 million sum rbl. In comparable prices it is only by 0,6 % more than the result of 2011.

In percentage terms leadership in the structure of paid service is occupied by utilities (22 %). The second segment for importance is provided by transport (18,3 %). In these areas decrease in financial result is marked by 6,2 % and 2,4 %, accordingly. The third sphere on volume of rendered services is a complex of various household services.

In 2012 demand for paid household services was a little higher than in 2011, — by 6,3 %.
