Bashkortostan exports mainly to China, and imports from Uzbekistan – Customs

Following the results of 2012 almost 30 percent of Bashkortostan export are accounted for China. The second significant partner in export is Finland (9,6 %). India has practically the same indicator (9,5 %).

Further the TOP-10 countries the most important for our republic on volume of export deliveries includes Ukraine, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Poland, Lithuania and Peru. According to Bashkortostan Customs, the export total amount made 1626,5 million dollars in 2012. Here the turnover of goods registered by posts of Bashkortostan Customs is included.

The four of the most significant states on import volumes includes Uzbekistan (15,5 %), Germany (15,1), China (14,8) and Ukraine (13,5). Then Italy (5,9 %), France (5,8), the USA (5,5), Turkey (2,6), the Great Britain (2,6) and the Netherlands (2,5) follow. The total import amount registered by customs posts made 725,6 million dollars in 2012.

According to the Bashkortostan Customs, the share of trade with the far abroad countries in the general goods turnover made 77,7 %, with the CIS countries – 22,3 %. For the last year the ratio changed in favour of the near abroad. This was also affected by some procedural reasons: changes in fuel and energy products registration procedure.
