Bashkortostan is on the fifth place in Russia on banking services availability

According to the National Bank of Bashkortostan Republic, about one and a half thousand banking establishments operate in the region. The republic takes the fifth place in Russia on the indicator of banking services availability.

The number of banking organizations is larger only in Moscow and the Moscow Region, Krasnodar Territory, St.-Petersburg and Tatarstan. Establishments of the Bank of Russia, commercial banks, their branches, subsidiary offices and other structural divisions are considered at calculation.

354 banking institutions counting per one million of inhabitants operate in the republic. Their number on average across Russia is 322.
