Vegetables and flour are the champions on rise in prices in Bashkiria

Vegetables and wheat flour appeared the champions on rise in prices for the foodstuffs in Bashkortostan in 2012.
The Bashkortostan Statistics Agency compared the prices for foodstuffs in December, 2012 to the data of December 2011. For this time cabbage grew in price by 77,7 %, beet — by 46,7 %. Wheat flour rose in price by 27,8 %.
The prices for bread and bakery products increased by 17,1 %.
The Bashkortostan Statistics Agency monitors also the prices in the food market for poultry meat (consumer price index — 113,6 %), pasta (109,1), granulated sugar (107,7), fruit and citrus fruit (106,4), sausage products (106,3), meat (106,2), chicken eggs (104,4), sunflower oil (104,1), milk and dairy products (104,1). The prices for fish products (100,8 %) and dairy butter (99,1) practically did not change. Frozen fish even fell in price by 4,4 %, onion — by 1,3 %.
The Bashkortostan Statistics Agency marks that the prices for the foodstuffs grew higher rates, than the year before. Non-foods and services rose in price in smaller rates. As a result the cumulative price index appeared minimum since 1992 — from the beginning of statistical monitoring and made 106,2 %.
Appreciable growth of cost was observed in excisable goods. For a year in Bashkiria vodka has grown in price by 17,6 %, tobacco products — by 21,5 %, diesel fuel – by 12 %, automobile gasoline — by 6,1 %. Housing and public utilities services for the population increased by 8,1 %.
The statistics fixes similar tendencies in the majority of subjects of the Volga Federal District.
