Almost a ton of animal products was detained at the Ufa airport

In 2012 in Bashkortostan Republic experts of the Directorate of Rosselhoznadzor (Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Monitoring Service) examined 1584 flights following from the CIS countries at the Russian Federation border checkpoint at the Ufa International Airport. As the department press-service informs, in 92 cases infringements of veterinary-sanitary regulations at transportation hand luggage and luggage were revealed. By results of examination of cargoes 957 kgs of animal products were detained and destroyed.
