Two-rouble silver coin to the memory of the composer Dargomyzhsky is issued

The Bank of Russia issued a new commemorative coin of the series «Outstanding Persons of Russia». The two-rouble silver coin is devoted to the 200th anniversary from the date of birth of composer Alexander Dargomyzhsky.

According to department of external and public relations of the Bank of Russia, weight of precious metal is 15,55 grammes, 925 standard of alloy.

The coin has the form of a circle with diameter of 33 mm. The relief image of composer Alexander Dargomyzhsky is depicted on the back against the scene from the opera "Mermaid".

The coin is made with proof quality. The circulation of the coin is five thousand pieces.
