Vladimir Nesterenko heads LLC Bashneft-Polyus

The Board of Directors of LLC Bashneft-Polyus, appointed Vladimir Nesterenko as the company’s new General Director.

LLC Bashneft-Polyus is a joint venture of JSOC Bashneft and OJSC Lukoil, which develops the R. Trebs and A. Titov oilfields in the Nenets Autonomous District.

Vladimir Mikhailovich Nesterenko was born in 1972. In 1998 he graduated from the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas. He started his career as an oil and gas production operator, worked as an oil and gas production supervisor; he was a line manager, the chief engineer, the Deputy General Director for Production in several oil and gas companies of the Nenets Autonomous District and the Komi Republic. From 2005 till December 2012, Vladimir Nesterenko headed the central engineering service and held the position of the acting First Deputy General Director for Production and the Chief Engineer of LLC RN-Severnaya Neft.

The official company release informs that the former General Director of LLC Bashneft-Polyus Vitaly Litvinenko decided to continue his career outside Bashneft.
