120 thousand tons of sugar will be made from sugar beet of the crop-2012 in Bashkiria

From 78 sugar mills of the country 27 finished processing of sugar beet. Among those who finished their work there are Meleuzovsky and Raevsky Sugar Mills.

According to all available information of the Russian Union of Sugar Producers, it is made so far 4,382 million tons of sugar in Russia. One year ago this indicator was equal to 4,513 million tons.

As the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan informs, this year 940 thousand tons of sugar beet were collected in the republic. Till the end of the season of processing it is planned to receive 120 thousand tons of sugar from the collected crop-2012.
