National Bank RB does not expect significant changes with a mega-regulator creation

National Bank RB does not expect revolutionary changes in its work in connection with mega-regulator creation.

The project assumes reforming of all system of financial markets regulation. According to the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, the Central Bank of Russia should become a mega-regulator. The Central Bank will incur functions of the Federal Financial Markets Services, which oversees professional financial market participants.

Accordingly, the zone of regulation of the Central Bank will include objects, which now are under supervision of the Federal Financial Markets Services, in particular, micro-financial organisations.

The National Bank activity will not undergo through any global changes, its Chairman Rustem Mardanov considers.
