Rosselhoznadzor did not allow entrance of quarantinable products into the Ufa airport

The Bashkir Directorate of the Federal Agency for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselhoznadzor) brought preliminary results of work in the expiring year. Experts of the Directorate at the border control check point in the Ufa International airport examined 1678 aircrafts, 123440 units of luggage and hand luggage, and also quarantinable products appeared onboard for 2012.

While carrying out of the documentary control 63 cases of infringements were revealed, 63 reports on individuals according to Art. 10.2 of the Administrative Code RF were made, the Bashkir Directorate of Rosselhoznadzor informs. It was imposed and collected administrative penalties for the sum of 19100 roubles.

In 47 cases import of quarantinable products of high fytosanitory risk was prevented. Such production arrived from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Tunis and Bulgaria without the documents certifying their safe quarantine status and conformity to requirements of the international contracts in the field of plants quarantine. The production was withdrawn and directed for destruction.
