Number of banks almost reaches one hundred in Bashkiria

98 commercial banks work for today in Bashkortostan, 11 from them are republican ones. As the Chairman of the National Bank RB Rustem Mardanov informed at the press conference on Thursday practically all banks, which are in the lead in the Russian market are present in the region.

Now the new credit organisations come to Bashkortostan mainly under their own initiatives, being aware of potential of the local banking services market, not by invitation of the National Bank. Among the banks invited to the region by the regulator, Rustem Mardanov named Novikombank. “It serves the key enterprise in military-industrial complex,” the head of the National Bank said. “Representatives of the bank came for the meeting; they will already start working from the beginning of 2013”.
