System of passenger transport monitoring is installed in Bashkiria

In Bashkortostan the Republican system of passenger transport monitoring is put into operation.

As the State Committee RB on Transport and Road Facilities informs, introduction of this system will provide automation of functions of the State Transport Agency RB. Passenger transportations should become safer. The economy of budgetary funds is an additional advantage.

According to the transport strategy of the Russian Federation for the period till 2030, motor transport used for transportation of passengers, is equipped with satellite navigation GLONASS or GLONASS/GPS.

The system of monitoring started in Bashkortostan includes variety of subsystems, including a subsystem of traffic control, operative control and situational management, a subsystem of formation and conducting a database of schedules, a subsystem of passenger traffic volumes monitoring.
