Scale introduction of droughtproof agricultural crops is planned in Bashkiria

In 2013 in Bashkiria introduction of droughtproof agricultural crops in the areas annually suffering from natural and climatic phenomena is planned. Besides, republican scientists will develop recommendations for every natural zone taking into account its bioclimatic features. The deputy minister of agriculture RB Azat Ziganshin said about it at the meeting in Duvansky region concerning realization of «Medium-term complex program of social and economic development of northeast regions of Bashkortostan for 2011-2015».

By results of research in 2013 complex programs of farms development with target indicators on various production branches will be prepared, the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB marks.

Among the tasks which will be set to crop growers in the northeast zone of the republic Azat Ziganshin named also increase in areas under cost-effective crops, increase of soil fertility and carrying out of reclamation works.
