More than 10 thousand of residents committees protect interests of housing owners in Bashkiria

In the expiring year more than 10 thousand councils of apartment houses were organised in Bashkortostan supported by the social movement. Activity results in 2012 of the regional social movement «Union of Residents Committees of Bashkortostan Republic» (BashDomKom) were brought at the press conference in the Bashinform News Agency.

According to the Chairman of the movement board Arsen Nuridzhanov, for today "BashDomKom" has structural divisions and representatives in all cities and rural areas of the republic.

The main problems which residents of apartment houses usually face with were mentioned at the press conference. First of all, these are changes in the federal legislation connected with payment of expenses for apartment house-wide needs. Arsen Nuridzhanov informed that daily tens of citizens address to the Committee concerning housing and public utilities problems. Most of complaints come from Ufa townspeople. Only for the last three months over 1,5 thousand of appeals were received by "BashDomKom".

Residents committees organised teamwork with regional Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities, the State Housing Inspection, administration of Ufa and in each specific case they try to render real help to the population.
