More than 150 New Year's Tree Bazaars will be organised in Ufa

The New Year's trees street trading in Ufa will be conducted at 154 fir-tree markets. The cost of the most demanded among the coniferous trees — Silver firs — varies now from 600 to 800 roubles. One year ago the price for a Silver fir fluctuated from 500 to 700 roubles in Ufa, the consumer market department of the capital administration informs.

“Besides the New Year's Tree Bazaars the New Year's trees trade will be traditionally conducted in the territory of retail markets and shopping malls. Besides, it is possible also to purchase a tree for celebrating of the New Year and Christmas at winter agricultural fairs. They are spent in Ufa every Saturday and Sunday, up to December 30,” the deputy head of the department Zulfiya Izhbulatova says.

Active selling of New Year trees will traditionally begin after December 20, closer to the popular holiday. Accordingly, with increase in demand for fir-trees, pines and Silver firs, the prices, most likely, will increase too.
