About 700 illegal burials of waste are liquidated in Bashkiria

From the beginning of 2012 inspectors the Ministry of Ecology RB revealed more than 900 illegal burials of waste on the total area over 152 thousand square metres.

“Now under orders of inspectors of the state ecological supervision it is liquidated about 75 percent of the revealed illegal waste storage places. 466 penalties which total sum exceeds two million roubles are imposed on infringers of the nature protection legislation. 35 cases are submitted to law enforcement bodies for compensation of the damage inflicted to the environment,” Nina Nikandrova, the press-secretary of the Ministry of Nature Management and Ecology RB informs.

More often illegal burials of waste are found near to horticultural associations and co-operative societies, in the territory of water protection zones and riversides, and also in forest plantations.
