Power energy sector brings into force the "Cold" mode

In three zones of our republic power energy workers activated the "Cold" mode: in the south, in the northeast and in the mountainous part of the republic.

It is the strengthened security mode providing a number of special organizational and technical measures. In all affiliated companies of the Bashkir electric network company staffs of prompt response are created. Infringements and deviations from the security mode should be liquidated in the shortest terms. Repair-recovery brigades and all special equipment are placed on high alert; the planned routine repairs at objects are suspended.

Usually the "Cold" mode is activated when the daily average temperature falls lower than 25 degrees below zero. Daily mean temperature in the Ural-Volga region is by five-seven degrees below normal. At night on December 12 -13, the temperature gauges of JSC Bashkir electric network company fixed the temperature drop of 28 degrees below zero. Hard frosts will tend to continue.
