64 percent of the unemployed in Bashkiria are women

In Bashkortostan 64 % of unemployed registered in the employment service are women. 42 % from the general number of officially registered unemployed are rural dwellers.

22 % of the today's unemployed are young people at the age from 16 till 29 years, 11 % — people of preretirement age, the State Employment Service RB informs.

Thus half of those who are registered now at the labour exchange were voluntary fired. 19 more % of the unemployed were dismissed in connection with liquidation of a company or because of staff reduction.

Level of the registered unemployment as a whole over the republic made 1,22 % of economically active population in the beginning of December. This indicator is equal 1,29 % in Ufa, in other cities of republic — 1,16 %, in regions — 1,37 %.

The number of territories with maximum unemployment level includes the cities of Agidel (6,67 %), Mezhgorye (2,51 %), Duvansky (2,25 %), Burzyansky (2,24 %) and Arkhangelsky (2,15 %) regions.
