The best Bashkir products are developing the new markets

At once six manufacturers of foodstuff from Bashkortostan will be presented at the International specialised fair "Pir" which opens in Moscow on December 14.

Product samples for advancement in new commodity markets were sel ected in November by potential consumers: representatives of Russian Restaurateurs and Hoteliers Federation which visited the processing enterprises in number of regions. In Bashkortostan the greatest interest was aroused by the “image” wild-hive honey and koumiss, also delicacies fr om horse beef, cheese, balms, national sour-milk products. Altogether 20 items. As the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB informs, manufacturers of the chosen products are the Meat-packing plant «Tuimazinsky» LLC, «Mazhit Gafuri’s Bashkir poultry-farming complex» LLC, «Bashkir goose» LLC (Fedorovsky region), public institution «Bashkir Research Centre on Beekeeping and Apitherapy», «Pyshka» and individual entrepreneur Kumpan M.V.

It should be marked that the Bashkir product line is more extensive than in other regions. Total five regions will be presented at the exhibition: the Moscow Region, Bashkortostan, Dagestan, Kamchatka and Altay Territory.

On the first day, December 14, there a round-table conference will be held with participation of heads of wholesale trade companies, large networks of food shops and chief cooks of restaurants. The program of the event is meant for three days. The overall objective of organizers is to understand what production is in demand among capital buyers and, accordingly, will be developed in the new market.
