Bashkortostan and Tadzhikistan defined prospects of economic cooperation

The delegation of Bashkortostan headed by the vice-premier of Government Ilshat Tazhitdinov made a business visit to the city of Khojend of Sogdian region of Tadzhikistan Republic.
At the meeting with the head of the Sogdian region Kohir Rasulzoda the prospects of the further partnership with scientific and technical "Nur" limited liability company was discussed.
The investor assumes to create several enterprises in the territory of Trans-Urals and northeast regions of Bashkortostan.
The investor plans to start the first production phase of gypsum board and dry building mixes in February, 2013. "Bazil" company worked over organizational issues on creation in the city of Sibay manufactures of basalt continuous fibres and composite materials with capacity up to 10 thousand tons of fibre a year.
Terms of investment project realisation on sheep wool processing were specified. It is planned to deliver three thousand sheep for March of the next year and to start the co-production at the site of "Stepnoe" LLC in five kilometres from Sibay in Tuyalyas village.
Besides, prospects of creation on the basis of Sibay airport a joint venture on rendering various aviation services were discussed.
In Khojend the delegation visited a free economic zone "Sugd", studied features of business and investment activity development in Tadzhikistan.
Representatives of Bashkortostan examined the process of cotton and fabrics manufacturing at JSC "Nurtex", visited factory on gypsum board manufacture, the official webportal of the Government of Republic informs.
