For 10 years the number of IT experts will grow six times in Bashkiria

In 10 years the number of IT experts should become six times more in Bashkiria. It was declared by the head of Agency on Information Technologies RB Ildar Yamalov. On December 4, in Ufa at the held session of Public Council on Investment Climate Improvement at the President RB he presented a "road map" on IT industry development in the republic for the period till 2022.

“Information technologies have crucial importance in increasing national economy competitiveness,” Ildar Yamalov said. “We suggest focusing on development of electronic education sphere. It is the work on improvement of human resources skills, in our opinion, which is of high priority for IT Branch development at the regional level.”

According to Ildar Yamalov, next year in the republic the «Bashkir Electronic University» consortium will be created, which will unite education establishments of all levels and IT companies.

In the presented "road map" the total volume of state investments in the branch development will make 6,3 billion roubles for 10 years, 40 percent from which are expenses on electronic education of the population. Business investments are predicted in the sum of 6,9 billion roubles. Besides, it is offered to create a state-private fund for the IT Industry support with the capital of more than three billion roubles.
