Agricultural producers of Bashkortostan will take part in the Moscow "Pir" fair

Participation of agricultural producers of Bashkiria in the specialised fair "Pir" (the main event in the Food and Hospitality Industry of Russia) which will take place in Moscow, in the territory of the exhibition centre Crocus Expo, on December 14-16, was discussed in the republican Ministry of Agriculture. Heads of processing enterprises, experts of the Ministry of Agriculture, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bashkortostan and the project head of «The Russian Regional Product» Ivan Fetisov were invited to the meeting. The Minister of Agriculture RB Nikolay Kovalenko conducted the meeting.

The minister reminded that in November this year representatives of Russian Restaurateurs and Hotelers Federation visited Bashkortostan. They were at many processing enterprises and preliminary sel ected products samples made in the republic for advancement them in the Russian market.

“The greatest interest was aroused by wild-hive honey, koumiss, delicacies fr om horse beef, cheese, balms, national sour-milk products. In total more than 20 items,” Nikolay Kovalenko informed.

Ivan Fetisov said about the exhibition as a whole and underlined that its main purpose is to understand what production is in demand at capital buyers and what should be done for advancement of regional products in the Moscow market.

As the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB informs, production of five regions will be presented at the exhibition: the Moscow Region, Bashkortostan, Dagestan, Kamchatka and Altay Territory.
