"Polief" company workers made the most environmentally friendly Christmas Tree in Bashkiria

In the Ufa City Recreation Centre the fourth competition of design ideas «Art-Christmas Tree» took place. The jury considered more than one hundred every possible variants of the main New Year's symbol. The creation of young workers from "Polief" (the enterprise is part of SIBUR Holding) received a rank of «The Most Environmentally Friendly Christmas Tree» in the nomination «Desktype Art-Christmas Tree»

The competition was held among designers-professionals and amateurs — on three nominations: the «Floor-standing Art-Christmas Tree», «Desktype Art-Christmas Tree», the «Souvenir Art Christmas Tree». The structure of the competitive commission included representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry RB, regional branch of the Union of Designers of Russia on RB, the Union of Artists of Russia, Ufa city administration and Ufa State University of Economics and Service.

The New Year's symbol is executed from plastic bottles. In this way "Polief" workers underlined ecological compatibility of the given container, after all polyethyleneterephthalate of which bottles are made, can be reprocessed.

Inventiveness of young employees was marked also by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry RB which handed over a special diploma to amateur designers for their ecological approach.
